Second Career Funding is an education funding available for recently laid-off unemployed workers. For many, long-term skills training is essential in the transition to in-demand career opportunities, and our practical programs and real-life training, delivered by high-calibre, industry-expert faculty, can take you there. You just need funding options to get you back to school and work. If you are a recently laid-off unemployed worker, an active EI claimant or EI reachback, you may be able to access this funding.
Financial assistance may be available to those who qualify.
Students who have been named a beneficiary under a family members’ Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP), may use funds from the RESP to finance their education.

The Canada-Ontario Job Grant (C.O.J.G.) provides an opportunity for employers to invest in their workforce with help from the government.
The Job Grant provides direct financial support to individual employers who wish to purchase training for their employees. It’s available to small, medium, and large businesses with a plan to deliver short-term training to existing and new employees, and will:

Financial support may be available to new students enrolled in a PSW program at one of the participating Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) approved private career colleges.** Eligible students can receive up to $13,235 to cover the costs of tuition, books and other mandatory fees, as well as a stipend for a clinical work placement. To be eligible for financial support, students must start their PSW training between May 1 and July 31, 2021.
